The faith and trust FC Barcelona continues to put in their youth remains unmatched. No other side in the world has continuously managed to recreate the same level of success that Barça has with that model of development. For Barcelona, however, their youth remains the solution of tomorrow as well.
Despite the financial hurdles that they have been hit with, the Catalan giants have managed to stay afloat. Much of the credit for that ultimately goes to their youth academy, which remains one of the very best that football has to offer. Now, even as the season comes to a close, Barcelona remain committed to their youngsters.
As highlighted by SPORT, the latest of the youngsters to join the senior team in their training was Landry Farre. Born in the same generation that the likes of Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi are from, he is a defensive player with a great future projection up ahead.
Hailing from the Juvenil A team led by Oscar Lopez, Farre is a player who is considered as being one of the very best talents within the Barcelona subsidiary. Aged 17, he has proven himself to be more than capable of not just representing the Juvenil side, but also being a full-fledged regular.
Primarily a fullback, he is capable of also playing as a central defender. The traits of his that allow him to do this are his great physicality and dynamic approach to the game. Born in Côte d’Ivoire, the defender is a true bet for the future when it comes to Barcelona.
He was able to train against the likes of top players such as Robert Lewandowski, Ilkay Gundogan, and others as he continues his climb to the top level. Moreover, another talented youngster named Quim Junyent, who is an exceptional midfielder, was also present in the latest training session and is regarded by many as being another one of La Blaugrana’s great cracks of the future.
