While strengthening the midfield is the main priority for FC Barcelona in the coming summer transfer window, the Catalans are also looking to get a forward to improve their attack before the start of the next season.

For this purpose, one of the players that the Blaugranes were keeping an eye on some months ago was the former Granada winger, Bryan Zaragoza. However, the forward was scooped up by Bayern Munich in January for €17 million, as the Germans wanted to preempt other sides interested in the winger.

However, Zaragoza has not been able to adapt too well in Germany, and according to SPORT, Bayern Munich are now open to sending him on a loan so he can regain some value and the priority of the German club is to get him back to Spain. Barcelona are attentive to this situation, and can take steps if the conditions of a loan seem favorable to them.

Zaragoza has not been able to play a lot with Bayern since his move in January, and while the final decision will be taken only after the appointment of the new coach after the departure of Thomas Tuchel, it is becoming increasingly clear for Bayern that a loan remains the best-suited option for the club.

In fact, the Bavarians have already started negotiating with Stuttgart to sign Chris Fuhrich as Zaragoza’s replacement. Meanwhile, the player himself is suffering from this situation, and his lack of play time can cost him a place in the Spain squad in the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024.

Bayern can give him some minutes if they have a few matches to spare at the end of the season, but he is not expected to have a lot of minutes in the new project.

However, the player’s entourage has not made any moves for now, as they await the final decision from Munich. Still, his agent is in contact with Deco, with whom he had already met last January when Barcelona were still interested in signing the winger.

For now, Barcelona are keeping a close eye on his situation but will make a move as his situation becomes clearer in the coming months. The Catalans see this as a market opportunity, but there is still a lot of uncertainty about this operation for now.
