FC Barcelona are going to be put under a lot of pressure heading into their upcoming games. La Blaugrana have already faced several hurdles this season, but they do not look to stop. Now more than ever, Barcelona simply can not afford to slow down at any point.
However, to do so, Barça need all the help they can get to make sure their momentum does not take a stop. Yet, fatigue continues to weigh down heavily on the Barcelona first team, and the rather demanding calendar has made it clear that players need respite.
For Xavi, on the other hand, pressure and strain is equally important to keep the team on their toes. As a result, the Barcelona coach continues to bring in new faces to help out the team in preparation and ultimately in games as well if those youngsters are lucky enough.
As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, Xavi has thus called upon several Barcelona Atletic players to show up. The exact number is stated to be nine, and all of these players do not simply play in one position either. It is a great blend of talented defenders, midfielders, forwards and a goalkeeper.
In terms of the defensive participants, some very key names are included. Pau Cubarsi, as expected, continues to train and recover with the first team. He is joined, however, by Mikayil Faye. The Senegalese defender has a lot of noise surrounding his future and his situation at the club, and that is all mainly due to his tremendous talent.
Others such as Hector fort, Mbacke Fall and Sergi Dominguez also trained with the first team. All these central defenders are extremely talented, and it comes as no surprise that Xavi believes they all deserve to train with the first team.
Over in the midfield, only Marc Casado entered as the only representative from the subsidiary. A talented player who possesses great technical gifts, but is able to mix it up with a great leadership attached to his young career.
Finally, the two forwards brought in are also two of the very best from the youth categories. Marc Guiu and Pau Victor, two goal scoring prodigies, were also called upon by Xavi to help the team train. Diego Kochen, a 17-year-old goalkeeper, was also among the subsidiary starlets being called upon by Barcelona head coach.
