It was only in the latter days of the market that he agreed to join Brighton on loan, as Barcelona wanted him to play in a different environment in a bid to help him rediscover his form.

However, his start at Brighton has not been ideal, as he is not yet a starter for Roberto de Zerbi, and has seen game time mostly as a substitute for now. Fati has made four appearances for Brighton this season, and scored one goal in the Premier League.
Fati joined Brighton with a clear aim to improve his form and return to Barcelona next season, but the youngster does not seem on track to achieve this objective. As a result, his future is highly uncertain.
SPORT reports that Saudi Arabian clubs are planning to take advantage of this uncertainty, as they are determined to sign Fati for the next season. The report mentions that Saudi Arabia has already contacted Fati’s entourage to show their interest in the youngster.

Some members of Fati’s entourage welcome such a move, but the player himself does not see such a big move viable for now. However, his mind can change in the coming months before the next summer transfer window.
Fati has a contract till 2027 with Barcelona, but his value at the Catalan club has been declining in the last few years. Thus, members of his entourage want him to take the highly enticing offer from Saudi Arabia, before his value plummets even further.
