FC Barcelona maintain their position on the players that they deem as saleable assets and in those that they consider untouchable or vital to their future as a competitive club.
The youngsters at the club in particular are players that Barcelona are hesitant on letting go off. Not demanding substantial wages and possessing the potential to become future elites, the situation is one that they must always throughput examine when considering younger talents.
Pablo Torre, 20-year-old, is an attacking midfielder and central midfielder currently contracted to FC Barcelona following his transfer from Racing Santander last summer.
Talented, well-developed, and technically sound, the youngster brought alongside him high hopes for a future at Barcelona. However, things have not gone as planned and the possibility of a temporary departure now remains on the table.
In the previous update, it was reported that Villarreal CF are the side most interested in acquiring the services of the youngster on loan for a season given manager Quique Setien’s admiration for the player.
Now, as per a report from SPORT, a new interested party has entered the picture and now hopes to acquire the services of the player for next season.
Valencia CF is the Spanish club now interested in acquiring Pablo Torre. Considering Nico Gonzalez’s loan spell at the Mestalla to have been rather successful despite the injury problems, both Barcelona and Valencia believe a loan move for Torre might also develop into a fruitful exchange.
One thing remains certain however, Barcelona has no intention of letting go of Pablo Torre on a permanent basis and considers him a future prospect even now.
A loan move is ideal for the club, as they wish for him to develop against top opposition while they simultaneously cannot afford to give him too many minutes themselves next season.
