FC Barcelona has made a note to remain attentive to their various loanees this season. Given the complaints of former players over previous years, it has been understood that even loanees need to be given attention and care. As such, Bojan Krkic was appointed by the Barcelona board this year to do exactly that.

One name in particular that seems to be quite hard to figure out is that of Pablo Torre. Struggling to receive minutes at Barcelona, he decided to take his talents to Girona in order to gain more prominence. While on loan there, he has had to deal with similar issues.

Not featuring significantly for Michel’s side, he is experiencing yet another hurdle in his progression. However, that is where the National team setup comes to liberate him. Playing for the Under-21 Spain side attempting to qualify for the 2025 Euros of the same category, the player shows his star power.

As highlighted by SPORT, in the recent game against Hungary, the 20-year-old managed to score and feature for the side. Helping Spain add the second goal to their 2-0 victory over Hungary, Torre was there to remind everyone of his talent and ability.

Starting from the bench, Torre would eventually end up replacing another Barcelona star, Fermin Lopez, before coming on in the 63rd minute. Lopez himself, on the other hand, was having quite the game. Whenever Spain would look monotonous or feel trapped, it was his inspiration that would typically allow the team to create and open up spaces.

After Lopez was substituted, Torre’s goal came four minutes after he came on. A brilliant play from two of his teammates led to the Hungary goalkeeper having to parry the ball away from his goal. However, this would reach Pablo Torre, who would then make no mistake in terms of both accuracy and power as he slotted the shot away.

Torre arrived at Barcelona from Racing Santander in the summer of 2022. Hailed as a talented Spanish prodigy, the player has thus far not been given the chance to prove that. While Krkic and Barça will continue to remain attentive, Torre will need to step up at Girona as well to fully showcase his prowess.
