Barcelona youngster Estanis Pedrola

19-year-old Barcelona youngster attracting suitors from La Liga

FC Barcelona youngster Estanis Pedrola has been the talk of the town recently with the summer transfer window only a couple of months away. The 19-year-old has reportedly caught the attention of several La Liga teams in recent weeks.

Pedrola, who has a contract with Barcelona until 2024, with the club having the option to renew until 2026, has been on the radar of several teams across Europe due to his impressive performances for Barcelona Atletic.

Estanis has already shown his quality on the wing this season, taking on defenders and having a knack for finding the back of the net, with his 7 goals in 16 appearances coming in clutch for Rafa Marquez’s side. Having trained with the first team this season, it remains to be seen whether he is part of Xavi Hernandez’s long-term vision for the club.

If Xavi decides against counting on him, gates for Estanis to leave the club may open. Osasuna FC, in particular as per recent reports from Mundo Deportivo, are said to be keen on signing the dynamic winger, who they believe would be a valuable addition to their squad. With Pedrola having a contract that runs until 2024, the Pamplona-based club could potentially secure his services permanently or on loan with an option to buy.

Barcelona are aware of Pedrola’s situation and may consider loaning him out to a Segunda Division side to build on his physicality, as he is not yet deemed fit to play regularly in the Primera Division. However, Pedrola has expressed his desire to succeed in the Blaugrana colors and may prefer to stay at the club if given the opportunity to play regularly.

It remains to be seen whether Osasuna or any other La Liga teams will be able to convince Barcelona to part ways with Pedrola. Still, the interest from multiple teams highlights the young winger’s potential and the options available to him in the future.
