Home kits sold out
However, there is currently a major problem regarding their kits at the moment. According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the primary FC Barcelona store located in Camp Nou itself is facing a massive shortage of the 2023/24 home kits available for sale.
According to the report, there are currently no home kits available at the biggest official FC Barcelona store in the world. They only have certain articles available either in kid sizes or in extremely large sizes, neither of which are exactly best sellers.
High demand
The reasoning for this can be attributed to two primary causes. One, the demand for these kits is extremely high and given the big names at the club, it is not exactly a surprise to see these home kits get sold out. Moreover, since the store is located in the heart of Barcelona itself, tourists and locals alike possibly swarm to the store to get their hands on a jersey to represent their club.
Delayed restocking
Secondly, a reason that club sources have also confirmed, NIKE has delayed sending in new kits. Every season, there is an agreed number of kits that have to be restocked and it appears that the manufacturers for Barça’s kits are behind on their schedule.
This fact has reportedly annoyed Barcelona greatly, given that these kits are a massively marketable product for the club. For now, MD states that these kits are expected to be restocked in the final week of October on the 23rd, the same week that the El Clasico against Real Madrid is expected to take place.
